Sighko, Aurain and Letofski stood around a roughly hewn table in the deepest basement of the Verdant Casque headquarters, going over reports of the public reaction to VOID’s flamboyant announcement in the forum.
“Letofski, I have to say congratulations are in order” said Aurain to his compatriot, “Verdant Obfuscation of Information Department indeed. Half the people out there are up in arms, the other half think we’re blowing smoke and are laughing at the absurdity of it all, and just a select few are beginning to suspect that where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
“Well, it was rather funny. All those orderlies arguing about how we have to have a list of complaints and petition for redress before rebelling. I mean, they do realize that we’re chaos, right?”
The seer laughed and shook his head.
“All jokes aside though, how are we supposed to pull this off? I mean, we don’t have those fancy hacks that Victoria Ash and Bunni have…”
Sighko grinned manically, “Oh, I don’t think that will be a problem…”
He crossed over to the other side of the room and prodded a few innocent looking flagstones, flinging open a hidden door containing an underground armory. Sitting beyond the threshold, a wide expanse filled to the brim with gigantic, steel racks could be seen, each containing a multitude of meticulously polished mines and grenades, crackling portals, ballistic St. Nicks, and between which hundreds of glowing blue coils crackled fiercely in the darkness.
“Vicky really should learn to clean up her toys before she leaves,” the elder vigilante sighed, “You never know what kind of trouble the kids may get up to otherwise…”
These are no ordinary tools however, due to an infusion of energy that has now spread throughout The Nethernet, reaching the whole community, grenades and mines will cause 20 DP worth of damage, 6 ballistic St. Nicks can be attached to each player, and seers will get double classpoints when drawing a Portal.
In addition to these changes, twice as many Grenades and St. Nicks can be attached to all players and the maximum number of Impedes a player can have attached to them at any one time is 10, meaning they will lose 5 classpoints for their next 50 tool uses.
The time has come, you have your duties!!

Forum Post: Does Ninefinder Have a Loose Screw?
This week we’re asking players who use PMail to take a short survey to help us better understand how the system is being used. There are some questions that will aid us in our future development of The Nethernet toolbar, and also a question regarding next week’s Special Happening.
