Thanks to the magic of Suttree, we have PMOG 2.0: a new version of the Firefox Extension that should provide a more stable platform going forward.
The extension now adds a P button to your status bar, out of your way, but always available. Right-click on that sucker to bring up a menu of options, including your current profile details, if you are logged.
The new extension tracks you constantly, whether the sidebar is open or closed. It has a “pause” function, to suspend tracking.
Also the extension now knows if there’s an update available, so we can automagically stream the latest PMOG softwarez your way.
Now that this is working, we’re going to be adding some gameplay to the sidebar! Hurrah! And cleaning up all the formatting. I guess we’ll always be doing that.
Now bud.com is open for testing; Firefox only at this point.

Thanks be to Duncan – he’s revised the backend behind the Firefox Extension. Two new features were added:
- recent online players
- now, PMOG players might feel less alone!
- parsing XP for gameplay classes
- The first step in implementing Merci’s fiction.
So look for more changes; mostly happening on the server side. No extension downloads to announce, just keep that toolbar open and see what we’re working on.
